Seven Circles

Seven circles sit inside a silent stadium, they watch within

One begins to shed his light, but learns that he’s committing sin

Two then starts to make remarks, and quickly sees that he’s not fit

Protecting Three was not in me and I should not have reached for it

Number Four is at my door, I wonder should I see her in?

Five will say “Of course you should! Remember when your frown was grin?”

Setting Six, I make no picks, I let the silence fall about

For Seven circles surround all of our beliefs and doubt
