The world I wish for is not real
It has no commercial appeal
Built upon a land that feels
Not what spins on those black reels
All measured by one simple way
What’s deep inside, and not portrayed
Opinions mean no more to me
Than living life emotion-free
Knowing someone costs a lot
Its time and energy we’ve got
Its easier to presume so
And think we know what we don’t know
Stop the guessing
Stop presuming
You cause real damage
By assuming
Learn the person that’s inside
Don’t predispose what’s in your mind
Do this and you’ll fine’ly see
They who beg: “look closer, please”
