This is probably going to piss some people off.
HOWEVER! I have to say it because I can’t stand the hate. I see a LOT of anti Trump, Clinton, Obama, and so on rhetoric online. In fact, that’s almost all I see. Anti this, and anti that.
Has anyone considered the fact that these people actually sit at home at night, thinking of how they can actually make the world a better place? Do we really want to hate people so much that we have to have a candidate that we just can’t stand? Or can we concede the fact that these are actually human beings…and ultimately just want to build a legacy for themselves while bettering the world.
Let’s be honest with ourselves. Everyone likes status. It’s natural. You like it, I like it, the world keeps spinning. At the end of the day, we really just need to ask ourselves how we can better the world while simultaneously creating a lifestyle for ourselves that’s fulfills our selfish natural instincts. That, in my opinion, is how to be a good person. Fill your own glass, but make sure you help others fill theirs too. Care about other people. Be excited when they achieve success. Support them when they try to do something good. Love. Just like that cool documentary said I posted about a couple weeks ago – live broadly.
So I’m going on the record and saying this: I like Hillary Clinton. I like Barack Obama. I like Donald Trump. I like Bernie Sanders. I like them all. Wanna know why? Because I respect the fact that they have gotten off their butts, and DONE something to try and change the world. They deserve respect. Whether you agree with their politics or not, they do. It’s that simple.
That is all. If this offended anyone….I got nothing. I can’t apologize for strongly held convictions.
