Life: It’s Far Too Short

You ask “How do I know it’s ‘me’”?

It’s easy, read my poetry

I’ve been the same for many years

And nothings easier to read

Everything is simple, see?

Stop making one plus four be three

Stay the knife, just embrace life

Pray you find the things you need

If you’re not okay – it’s okay

Tomorrow won’t be yesterday

All will heal, and if appealed

It still won’t matter…watch and see

You’ll get over everything

The house, the car, the life, the ring

The games will no more seem to sing

And life, anew, will start to bring

Bring the things you thought it won’t

Don’t say “can’t”, and don’t say “won’t”

Say whatever you want to

Do the things you want to do

Life: it’s far too short, indeed

True for you, true for me

Take care of each planted seed

Every branch, each leaf, each tree
