In my chamber, losing sleep
Rocking, thinking, silently
Watching broadcasts quietly
Observe this world, so violently
I wonder if the day will be
When people live, peacefully
Shedding war, with treaty
No longer loving fearfully
It all could change, if only we
Would be the change we want to see
We must admit, reluctantly
To fix the “us”, it starts with “me”
Don’t take offense, the truth, you see
Is no one lives life perfectly
We’re all together, I decree
To live, one human family
