Antoninus Pius

It doesn’t take a day, fortnight

To know what’s wrong and know what’s right

It only takes some sadness, see

A bit of love and empathy

Understanding someone else

Not just standing for yourself

Realizing that, in truth

I’m just me, and you’re just you

We do not need to hate, or fight

Whether priest or Acolyte

Times will change, they always do

Don’t get caught up on what is “you”

Know just who you want to be

Work toward it relentlessly

Do not stop for cause of man

Never: “cannot”. Always: “can”.

If ever I have traveled far

‘Twas on the shoulders of a star

Look to them when some cast doubt

Most don’t know what you’re about

There will come a day that, yes

You can speak and not digress

Strive for it, and make it so

A day when they, at long last, know
