Laissez-Faire

I wish I may, I wish I might

I wish to find a star tonight

One that glances when it dances

For my heart and sees my plight

One that’s out there

In the sky

Hidden from the naked eye

Someone seeking, all alone

Eyes set forward, not on a phone

I wish I may, I wish I might

Hold onto your hand tonight

I’m not going anywhere

We’ll live this life, laissez-faire
