A Letter to Our Leaders

To every politician, right or left, I beg that you read these words and carefully consider them.

I am writing this because it is necessary, because we simply cannot do this any more. So please understand that all of what I’m about to say is the god-honest, unabridged truth, and is felt by millions of people whom you are supposed to represent.

All of you are ripping this nation apart.

Every single day, people wake up to headline after headline of how monstrous the president is, or how hypocritical the left is. Our media outlets publish nothing whatsoever other than the continued divisive rhetoric of either side. Fox tells America to love Trump and the mission he’s on, and CNN tells America to hate Trump and everything he stands for. That’s the basic gist of every single piece of news we’re constantly fed, day after day after day.

And you know what? Both sides of the aisle are destroying us. Every single one of you do nothing but pander to your base, and throw rocks at your opposition. Trump does it, AOC does it, Pelosi does it, and literally every other person up there in those comfy seats does it. I choose these names because I know they’re the most recognizable ones to us normal, working class Americans – but it applies to all of you. It’s absolutely ridiculous, and it all boils down to one, very simple fact.

You are all, every single one of you, being ruled, inhibited, and otherwise governed by your absolutely, enormously inflated egos. There isn’t one single human being that has entered your arena who is not completely subconsciously controlled by their own vanity, ego, and desire for power. In fact, that’s exactly why you have all gravitated toward your positions in politics to begin with – you, at your most basic, fundamental core, want control. You know it, I know it, and every single person reading this knows it. There is no escaping that fact, because after all, here you are, sitting in Congress, fulfilling that carnal desire of yours. So let’s make that clear before we go any further.

Back to the point. Yes, you are destroying our country. All of you. You’re destroying it with your endless inability to make peace with those who oppose you. It’s absolutely infuriating, to be completely frank. Rather than trying to find a common, middle ground, you have all dug in and instead lob hateful, malicious rhetoric at anyone who threatens your point of view. It’s disgusting behavior, and you should all be ashamed. Your jobs, which by the way were created to serve us, have instead become luxurious positions of power and corruption. And the worst part of it all is that you now use your duly elected power to manipulate and deceive the very people who were kind enough to grant it to you.

I don’t care if this makes you angry. I honestly don’t. Because everyone who reads this knows exactly what I’m trying to say, and hard truth is always what digs at us the deepest. We’re fed up with you. You’ve completely twisted the values that this nation was founded upon, and it’s time to put this to a stop. I can’t do anything myself, because I’m nobody in the grand scheme of things. But you know what? The people can. Now, more than ever, we have the power to communicate en masse, and your authority is treading a very thin line right now whether you want to believe it or not.

I’m tired of watching friendships get ripped apart. I’m tired of hearing about marriages crumbling, and I’m tired of seeing family members be ostracized all in the name of politics. You were supposed to set an example for what a cooperative, legitimately considerate institution should look like. But you’ve completely squandered that opportunity. You’ve become everything that is wrong in this world, and there are literal hundreds of millions of people suffering because of it.

This is a reckoning, if I may say so. It’s an outcry on behalf of every single person in this country who I know wants nothing else but to see a world where people love each other and get along. So please, I beg that you stop all of this hatred and disagreement and start working together like you were supposed to. We cant do this anymore. Something has to change.

And it has to start with you.

Rise Up

My wardrobe’s the flyest

My partisan bias

Is painted on each pleat and cuff

I look at my dresser

Think “I’m an impresser”

My donors, they can’t get enough

They worship me, yes they do

Sing to me, yes it’s true

Follow through thick and through rough

Blindly believing

The things I’m achieving

The truth is not what they discuss

The truth is that each aisle

Uses the same style

Deceit and control is their love

So to left and to right

I say to you tonight

Meet in middle, and rise up above

Politicians: Analyzing Who They Really Are

First of all, let’s all acknowledge the one thing I KNOW on which we can all agree: our nation’s “leaders” are acting more childish as of late than a class of second graders trying to decide who gets to pick first for their P.E. class’s dodgeball tournament.

That is to say…they’re embarrassing us.

For the longest time, I’ve been trying my absolute damnedest to discern who the hell actually cares about any of us, and who’s just in it because they obsess over ego, control, and attention. Because by now, I’m pretty sure we all get it; the vast majority of “public servants” gravitate toward the field merely due to the fact that their fundamental character traits drive them to seek out such things. I mean let’s be real here…if any of these embarrassments to humanity were sincere and honest about their desire to help people, they’d be more focused on actually bringing us together rather than incessantly berating everyone who disagrees with them.

So I thought about that for awhile. I wanted to try and figure out who really is doing this for the right reasons. More than anything, I wanted to find a tangible, observable reason that helps me believe that a person actually means what they say.

At first, I was like “well that’s an enormously stupid idea, considering the fact that the entire game is to make sure everything about you screams sincerity, which ironically is one of the least sincere approaches to all of this since it’s just a facade (which is the antithesis of sincerity), but I digress. Point is, I wanted to try and come up with a way to tell who’s who.

So after making many trips to my mind palace in search of this theoretical metric of not-full-of-shittedness, I finally came upon an idea. An idea, at least to me, that could somewhat accurately make such a distinction.

To make a long story short, I decided that I would dig deep into these folks’ online rhetoric. Because if you read the subtext and actually try to peel back all the layers of human interaction, you’ll find that it’s actually quite easy to discern whether or not someone means the things they say, or if they’re just saying what they think will make them sound more appealing.

Basically what I’m saying is that this helped me gauge whether a person is driven by genuine conviction (which is good), or their own self-aggrandizing ego. The rules are simple: listen to how they speak to and address other human beings.

Really, that’s all there is to it.

You see, at the end of the day, we should want our representatives to embody all that is good in us, right? Which, of course, means that our “leaders” should be spending their time relentlessly trying to find a common ground, rather than berating the other side for fostering beliefs that conflict with their own. That’s the whole point, is it not? Of government, I mean. We didn’t just magically come up with the concept of a single entity to dictate proper behavior out of nowhere, right? Of course we didn’t. So if the masses are expected to honor this contract we created so long ago (and btw I would love to know who originally came up with the idea so I could punch them in the face, but w/e), shouldn’t they be acting the way we elect/tell them to act?

Anyway, back to the point. Basically, I realized that learning who a person really is can be somewhat accomplished by their dialogue with people. And the formula is wonderfully simple: if they speak to people disrespectfully, condescendingly, or in an otherwise smug fashion, they’re more than likely the bad type I aforementioned. Because a smart, sincere person would realize that no benefit, at all, comes out of treating people like crap. Literally the only thing it accomplishes is the satisfaction of one’s ego.

So let’s look at some examples, shall we? Here are some honest-to-god, objective opinions I’ve formulated based solely on their social media habits (sorry, but if we aren’t able to know them personally, that’s pretty much all we got in terms of material we can use to position our perspectives of them).

Let’s start with Trump, because duh.

Look at that first sentence. The “incompetent mayor”. Now ask yourself…was it really necessary to belittle him in such a way? How, exactly, does that type of statement serve to unify people? A point, by the way, we need to all grasp:

Leadership, by definition, is about bringing people together – not separating them apart.

And that’s exactly what that pointless jab in the ribs does. It splits people apart, because now, anyone who might support the mayor is now being alienated by a completely useless insult.

Let’s move on.

Oh yeah. You knew she was coming, I know. So let’s apply the same logic here.

“Try to keep up.”

Um…okay? Let’s give her the benefit of the doubt. Let’s say her main point was a solid one. Now tell me, what good does it do to add that little wrenching fingernail at the end? Don’t answer that, because I’ll tell you: none. The answer is none. No good at all comes from such an obnoxious, inflammatory remark. And this girl’s feed is loaded with these types of examples. To be totally honest, she’s kind of an asshole if you look at things objectively (which you should always do).

For the sake of brevity, I’ll just do one more. And believe me, this is one of those “practice what you preach” moments, because I personally get annoyed af by this chick. But, as I said, we must remain objective if we are to be fair.

I thumbed through her Twitter pretty hard, and to be totally honest, the overwhelming majority of her posts were catered toward actual policy and her own convictions. So as much as I’m sure plenty of people will disagree, my unbiased opinion is that she really does want to do the right things. Sure, we might disagree with her as to what those things are, but imo she isn’t as married to her ego as the other two dunces I mentioned are.

So that’s basically it. I know this will likely seem stupid to many of you, but I really do think that you can learn a lot about someone based off their online interactions. You just have to make yourself aware of the message behind the message and see who actually respects humankind.

Above all, please put an effort into using your best judgment. Don’t just listen to what you’re told to believe.

The World is Run by Psychopaths…and They’re Too Stupid to Realize It

Alrighty. I’m going to begin this here blog entry with a disclaimer – this is probably going to sound crazy to a lot of you. Thankfully, I’ve prepared for that. So let me first begin by saying the following:

People, as we all know, tend to be predictable.

It isn’t exactly rocket science to spend a bit of time with a person and, after awhile, gain the ability to anticipate their reaction(s) to a particular situation and/or event. It’s pretty much common sense for anyone capable of recognizing patterns and processes at, say, a fifth grade level, right?

Right.

So taking this not-so-revolutionary realization into account, I’d like to apply it to a specific group of people. A group, as I’m sure you’re all aware by now, that does, in fact, exist. What group is this, you ask?

The Illuminati.

Oh yeah. You heard me. I said it. Say it with me, will you?

The Illuminati.

Ahhh. Much better. See, now that we’ve gotten the hard part out of the way (mutually acknowledging their existence), we can now discuss them in a meaningful way. And before you ask me to get into the nitty gritty, the answer is “I don’t know”. I have absolutely no idea who, on an individual basis, runs and controls these things. What I do know, however, is that my radar of common sense hasn’t failed me thus far in life, and if I am to consider the inordinate amount of research and legitimate, academically-motivated research into the topic I’ve done – well, it leads to only one conclusion. A conclusion, of course, that points to the unavoidable reality that the world is managed, administered, and sometimes picked apart by a hyper-intelligent, coordinated group of individuals who commonly embody sociopathic characteristics.

That is to say, they couldn’t care less about you.

Am I crazy for thinking this? Sure, perhaps I am. But between you and me, let me say something.

I’m not.

As a matter of fact, I consistently maintain an Uber rating in the upper 4.9’s, and any waiter or waitress, ever, will attest to the fact that I always tip at least 20%. Know why? Because I actually enjoy the benefits of being a decent human being (another disclaimer, I wasn’t this way until my mother passed four years ago). Basically, I’m forced to be as benevolent as I possibly can in order to fulfill a promise I made to an adored parent of mine as I held her hand for the last time as she laid on her literal death bed. So it’s become somewhat of a necessity for me to try and mitigate such evil-doing in whatever capacity I can.

Yes. I have committed my life to that one, very simple cause.

But back to the point. Do your own research of course, but for those who don’t have time to trek on down the rabbit hole, I’m sorry; you’re just gonna have to take my word for it. In fact, remember that speech JFK gave not long before he was snuffed out? You know the one I’m talking about. It pretty much laid it all out in the open for you (speaking of which, don’t ever let a sincere leader like him be silenced without a resounding response-in-kind).

Here’s the cliff-note version for anyone who might need it.

“We are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence–on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day.

It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.

United States President John F. Kennedy

Long story short, he was literally trying to tell you guys about the Illuminati. That might be classified as paraphrasing, but the point remains. I mean let’s be real here, you can’t just brush off whatever it was that influenced the aforementioned words from being read on national television. Because those words are not, in any way whatsoever, complicated. This man was very clearly calling out some seriously nefarious shit.

So what’s the point?

Well, the point is this: turns out, those people aren’t all that smart after all. In fact, it’s a bit laughable when you really sit down and consider it. Just take a quick look at them and ask yourself: what is the one thing that none of them seem to be able to stand? It isn’t hitting them in their pocketbooks. No, that’s not it at all.

It’s their ego.

Yup. Once again, it really is that simple. I guarantee you that if you randomly plucked a hundred of these mega-wealthy, super powerful “elites” from their strongholds in the Hamptons or elsewhere and asked them what the most important thing in life is to them, ninety-nine of them would say its to have an ever-lasting impact on the world so their name might carry on as a beacon of all that is good in the universe.

In other words…remember me.

And that’s just it. To understand why these people do the things they do, you have to be able to think like them. That’s what being a grandmaster at chess is all about, no? You have to know your enemy. And I hate to say this, but that’s exactly what these people who are above you on the socio-economic ladder are: they’re your enemies. Why? Well, that’s the Animal Kingdom for you. No one wants to see someone else rise above them, so they try their damnedest to maintain their foothold on the top of your head as you struggle to climb your way to the top.

It’s common sense stuff, and it’s about time you start waking up to it.

So please…start thinking about this stuff. That’s all I ask. I’m fully aware that we all look at the world, see how shitty it is, and just shrug our shoulders because of how daunting it is to imagine changing it. But you know what? Someone has to, or we’re going to be shrugging our shoulders for all eternity.

We can control our destiny, if only we believe in ourselves. For the last time, it really is that simple. It’s going to have to start by controlling the idiots who are in charge at the moment. And the way to do that is So. Freaking. Obvious. I promise you, they really aren’t nearly as smart as they try and make themselves out to be. Just steer them by their egos. That’s it. Because none of them want to be remembered as “History’s Shittiest World Leader”. The power is within you. For the sake of us all…

Start using it.

Checkmate

I do not claim to be the best

I compete not with all the rest

The things I write are not for fun

It’s to unload this loaded gun

As tensions rise, so do our acts

And if you look at all the facts

You’ll see that nothing ever changed

That things were simply rearranged

The problems that we face today

Are all as old as seers say

It isn’t you, it isn’t me

It’s that we’ll always disagree

Tis’ the issue that we face

And if we ever found a space

Which let us mend our broken bond

A place where we can correspond

Perhaps I’d get it, and you would too

That pointing fingers, saying “you”

Does not contribute anything

But wasted words held on a string

A string that’s frayed, and so decayed

It hardly holds this day and age

So cease the fighting, calling names

Do not be pawns in twisted games

An Address to the World Concerning the Ford/Kavanaugh Debate

Alright.

I’m going to attempt something that may never have been attempted since the dawn of humanity: I am going to try and bridge this ridiculous divide and help people see this Ford/Kavanaugh thing from both sides. While I’m pretty sure this ain’t gonna change anything and everyone is still gonna throw rocks at each other, at least I can sleep knowing I tried.

Get comfy, because this is gonna take a minute. But this is a very important issue, and imo one that we SHOULD spend the time considering.

So, to:

TEAM KAVAUNAUGHTY

First, try to understand the sheer magnitude of frustration and emboldened passion for their world views that most liberals and leftists are experiencing at the moment. Not only do they have no upper hand in Congress, but they recently lost one of the most emotionally charged Presidential elections in American History. Never has the general populace been exposed to the political process as intimately as we have been since the internet and mass communication entered the equation. So try and cut them some slack for being just a wee bit exasperated; any normal human being would be. It’s natural for people to speak up more aggressively/assertively when they are in a weakened position such as the current balance of power; the psychological instinct is to feel a need to defend their beliefs, which is perfectly understandable. Now I’m not saying you should put up with the hatred and vitriol a lot of liberal supporters/media outlets have been spewing, but on an individual level, try and at least get along and be considerate of the struggle when you butt heads. And let’s be fair, when Obama was in office I sure didn’t see a lot of love coming from the right, even when he did things that deserved positive recognition. If the tables were turned, I imagine many of you would be acting in a similar fashion (which is precisely what we saw from 2008-2016).

Now, as far as our current case of America’s divisive flavor of the week: the Ford allegations. Yes, the law and socially-accepted standards of judging whether someone is guilty or not is on your side. We all get that, and to my knowledge there aren’t any liberals/dems refuting that. What they ARE trying to make you understand, however, is that the simple fact that we are undergoing this process to begin with; primarily because it’s regarding a candidate for one of the most powerful positions in human history. A Supreme Court Justice has the ability to affect, and to a certain degree literally dictate, how we as citizens conduct our lives. Paying EXTREME attention to their character, reliability, and general trustworthiness is absolutely paramount when deciding if an individual is worthy of the power to tell us how we’re allowed to live. So yes, the fact that this hiccup has occurred is, in and of itself, profoundly alarming.

This is the main point of Ford’s side that you need to consider when discussing and debating this matter. Because at the end of the day, pretty much everyone falls into one of two categories: you either see past this, or you don’t. EITHER OF WHICH is a completely, rationally justifiable conclusion. It is not at all unfair for someone to say that they would prefer we find a candidate whose history is void of this kind of concern, false or not. Sure, as far as we can all legally say, it didn’t happen. But those who are shaken by the simple possibility that this MIGHT have happened is enough to keep someone up at night. After all, its not like they’re advocating we throw the guy behind bars. They’re just concerned. A reason, which you should know especially if you’ve ever hired someone before, that can be enough to move on to the next resume for some. It’s just a personal preference; nothing more.

Anyway, there are a lot of other moving parts to this side and their motives, but that’s my general take when I try to stand in your opponent’s shoes, Naughty peeps. Please be mindful of these things when you’re telling liberals they’re the devil for trying to deceive their way into power. Not everyone is as evil as we tend to make them out to be, hard as that might be to believe.

Moving on to

TEAM FORD

This won’t take as long because as I mentioned, it doesn’t take a lot of explaining when the law and society’s behavioral status quo is on your opponent’s side. Their argument is pretty easy to understand. Like it or not, the inarguable truth is that barring some kind of DNA trace, picture/non-existent-at-the-time cellphone video, or other form of empirical evidence somehow magically transporting itself through time into the hands of investigators…this ain’t gonna be provable. Even Ford herself gets that, evident through the fact that her attorneys announced that they don’t intend to refute Kav’s testimony. At the end of this week’s FBI probe, the chips will fall where they may, and life will go on.

Its pretty much that simple for Team K. They are the type of folks who view due process as the governing dictator as to how we should formulate opinions and conclusions. Again, perfectly reasonable; especially considering that the entire legal system our forefathers created for us is based upon this exact sentiment. You are innocent until proven guilty, period. Making judgments based on anything less is impermissible and an egregious violation to a dignified, fair society. The line is blurred in this instance, however, because it’s not technically a “legal” matter; it’s an interview. So the question we have to ask is can we take a concern of unsubstantiated allegations into account since this is a slightly more discretionary situation than a formal legal matter? As with all of this, your answer will reflect your own personal beliefs; there’s no black and white correct answer here.

So for you Ford folks, that’s basically what you should consider when you’re accusing Kav supporters of “mansplaining”, bigotry, etc. They are simply a different type of person than you; not the kind who let’s the existence of (you must admit) un-provable doubt bother them when weighing the merits of a candidate. A conflicting, but equally as understandable and fair as your own, world view. This does not in any way make them “insensitive”, condescending to women, or otherwise sinister. I want to be clear on that, because I have seen a ton of these kinds of comments arising out of this case. #METOO is an inexplicably important and beneficial movement, but let’s not get lost in the momentum and unjustly overextend its influence.

———————————-

And that’s it, everyone. My point is that we all need to realize that human beings are a very dynamic, diverse, and different (alliteration ftw) group of individuals. The day when we all agree on everything will never arrive, much as we’d like it to. Debates such as the one we’re having right now will always hinder our ability to unite as not only a country, but a species in general. The only choice we have, if we are to ever achieve this unity thing we always hear about (which, confusingly, no one seems to ever do anything about), is to place ourselves in the minds of others and sincerely try to understand them and the forces driving their views. You’ll find that most people have honest intentions.

Oh, and speaking of sincerity. This essay was all a waste of time unless you have asked yourself this very important question: do I SINCERELY, genuinely care about any of this? Dam I truly even concerned about the grand scheme of things and people getting along? Because if we’re speaking plainly, it’s a biologically wired instinct among the Animal Kingdom to be content with our own lives and relationships, without much thought as to what’s going on outside of them. Doesn’t make you a bad person. I say this because it seems a lot of people instead just use these little pop-up conflicts as a convenient means to satisfy the need to share their own opinions, ignoring any concerns to the contrary (the satisfaction of winning Facebook tiffs must be very real, indeed). So if you’ve never looked in a mirror and asked these things, I strongly suggest you do a little soul-searching and self-discovery. Find out who you really are and what you care about; because I think we all know that the biggest lies we tend to tell are the ones we tell ourselves.

One last point. There is another group of people that none of this applies to (and tbh, the cynic in me is concerned this might actually be the majority, if social media is any indicator). These are the ones whose decisions and stances on these things are driven solely by their partisan politics and personal predispositions. No matter how much evidence, logic, or reason they are presented with; they ain’t gonna budge, because they are basically God and always right about everything, ever. These are the guys who will sooner go the grave before admitting they might be wrong about something or attempt to be more open minded. You all know who I’m talking about – those friends and acquaintances who you’ve literally never heard say “I’m sorry” in their lives. Yeah…don’t be one of them.

So to summarize every one of the almost 1,800 words you just read – for Christ’s, Allah’s, Buddha’s, Brahman’s, Vishnu’s, any other Gods I’m leaving outs, and the Universe’s sake: PLEASE try to get along. Like, really make the effort. Next time you feel the anger sharks swimming in your head, take a deep breath. Be the bigger person if someone’s being an ass and kill them with kindness. That’s how you win anyway, isn’t it? Don’t let the jerks think they said anything significant enough to affect you. Set the example they should aspire to.

There. If you made it this far, thank you for listening. If you feel inclined to share this message please do, because this is something which desperately needed to be said and we all know our media/politicians aren’t going to be advocating for the masses coming together anytime soon. If we could begin to think more along the lines mentioned here and start coming together, the power and influence we would hold as a united unit is immeasurable to the point of the world quite literally being transformed. After all, isn’t that the “change” we all like to talk about and wish for? We’ve waited long enough you guys.

This is how it happens.

The Tour

Psst, hey you! Come here, my friend

To you, my hand, I shall extend

Don’t be shy, come quietly

This is for you, just follow me

A tour this is, with me, your guide

So let us gently step inside

Now take a seat, get strapped right in

Prepare the mind to twirl and spin

First stop, its here, a bright red light

We look around, no soul in sight

And so we drive, but wait! Just stop

A ticket written from this cop?

“You ran a red light.” So, my friend?

There was no one around the bend

What purpose do you serve, you see?

Protect and serve, for my safety?

Then why, dear sir, must you oppress?

I looked each way, both right and left

‘Twas obvious, no danger here

And so I went, but still you’re here?

Truth is, my friend, that light you see

Is simply there for trafficking

A ticket now is petty, no?

Written only ‘cause “I told you so”

But hey,  you there, let’s move along

Let’s not get caught up in this “wrong”

The point of using it, you see

Was to make you sit and think

So come on now, next stop ‘n still

Is at my cousin’s funer-ill

But don’t feel bad, no please don’t cry

He had it coming, stupid guy

Just look around, observe and see

All these tears and cries we grieve

Tell me, is your faith in God?

‘Cause if it is, he’s just a bod

That’s right, he’s nothing now, down here

So wipe and dry that tumbling tear

If believe, you truly do

You’d be happy for the news!

He’s up there in your heaven, right?

And as you lay down, every night

You tell yourself “we’ll meet again”

But will you really, my old friend?

Okay let’s pause, and take a break

I know it’s hard to be awake

This tour is tough, it’s hard for me

To drive folks through reality

The truth is harsh, it doesn’t care

What color, skin, or crown you wear

These words offend you? Sacrilege?

Buy “ignorance is bliss” package

This tour, I say. it must go on

And money man, it pays the bondS

So let’s move on to our stop three

And talk about our friend, money

Here we have, right in our hands

The instrument, that rules our lands

Every single thing you do

Is to make more, more accrue

More and more until its thought

We can afford the life we want

Well what if way back, way back when

‘Fore money was invented, friend

They’d thought of something else, instead

Like I build houses, you bake bread

Existence without currency

I know its weird, this tour with me

Its in a world, where things are not

The status quo, these thing’s we’re thought

Hey, you know, I’m just your guide

That’s how it is, just let it slide

Pretend its normal, this new world

Cause every curl we have uncurled

Is hard to think of, yeah that’s right

Because you’ve learned one way, alright?

Conditioning, please don’t feel bad

But when you wake up, don’t be mad

These things we’ve taught you to believe

Are all an act, a just reprieve

Created rules, and laws you see

To contain the thought that’s free

But now my friends, you have a guide

I need support, this scheduled ride

We must end it, I decree

And bring back our humanity

There is a game, you know it’s true

And trust me, world, I need you

Conspiracy

Great writing can change the world. We’ve seen it happen time and time again, from philosophies to constitutions. Knowing this, I try to maintain a constant awareness when it comes to writing. Looking for things that influence me in one way or the other.

I watched a movie today that had an effect. I’m not particularly sure what kind of effect it was, but it was there nonetheless. The movie is called Conspiracy, and tells the tale of the Wannsee Conference. If you’re not a history buff, the Wannsee Conference was the meeting of masterminds behind the German holocaust during WWII. It was the meeting where they decided on their “Final Solution” to the “Jew” problem.

The movie itself was produced by HBO, and the entire plot consists of the 15 member open-table conversation, which is based off of the sole surviving “minutes” document that recorded the meeting. Interested in history or not, I strongly recommend  watching this simply to experience the harsh realities of global elites.

Now, there is a very important message that I would like to convey with this post. The movie, if you have the time to watch, brilliantly illustrates the brutalness and depravity of which the human condition is capable. By simply listening to these actors portray what was a very real event, we begin to understand how far the reaches of human degradation really can go.

This is something I think we all need to call a timeout on. Because think about it: there was a time in our (very recent) history where people actually agreed to KILL OFF AN ENTIRE RACE. It’s easy to look back today and say “well those guys were crazy back then.” But you know what? Back in 1942, they probably said the same thing about people who accepted the Jews. Somehow, some way, these people created a perception and reality where they had convinced the population to turn a blind eye to the extermination of SIX TO ELEVEN MILLION PEOPLE.

6 to 11 Million human beings. Let’s put that in perspective. I live in Nashville, TN. A beautiful, wonderful, friendly town. A town where sometimes I get frustrated because it seems so packed with implants and growth that it makes me want to pull my hair out (the traffic sucks).

Our census puts the entire city’s population at 1.8 million if greater Nashville is included.

That’s a lot of people. And the holocaust ended a number of lives that is equivalent to my ENTIRE city, by threefold. And that’s only if we assume the lowest number. Otherwise were looking at around 6 Nashville’s being helplessly killed.

I want people to understand these things. I want them to realize how important it is to keep the powers that be in check. Because this world, as it exists today, is not a place that we should proud of.

Vote for me folks, your candidate of change!

(My glistening smile can sell anything)

Don’t be shy guys, my numbers are great!

(Mostly my budget will pay any rate)

The rest are corrupt! I say what I mean

(And hope that my lines aren’t read in between)

Once I’m in office, you’ll smile and cheer!

(Regret your decision, and long for next year)

Don’t wait any longer, just run to the polls!

(Shut up and vote, my foods getting cold)

For man and for country, I’ll represent all!

(But mainly the folks that I golfed with last Fall)

Elections are over, let’s tally the vote!

(I hope they paid off, invites to my boat)

Yes! Here we are, in office I stand!

(Time to wreak havoc on your forsaken land)
